Oh Brother (You've Got A Long Way To Go). Free And Easy. Fine singing and songwriting from the duo of Brian Finch and Ken E. Henson. According to the liner notes by David Marks, Finch and Henson have paid dues "6 nights a week sometimes five hours a night for twenty years. They've also been in a few bands that have brand-name recognition: Freedom's Children, Abstract Truth, LeeMen Lt. and others. They've also worked with some greats: 'Mutt' Lange, Kevin Kruger, and David Marks at 3rd Ear Music, and some musos who have worked with Finch and Henson call them greats. I put this CD on expecting a folkier sound, but.

Brian Henson (born November 3, 1963) is an American puppeteer, director, producer, technician, and the chairman of The Jim Henson Company. He is the son of puppeteers Jim and Jane Henson. Brian David Henson was born in New York City, is the middle child and first born son of Jane Henson (née Nebel; 1934–2013) and Jim Henson (1936–1990). He has four siblings: Lisa (born 1960), Cheryl (born 1961), John (1965–2014), and Heather Henson (born 1970)
When we were kids, my brother and sisters and I were always allowed to stay up late to watch our father’s appearances on The Tonight Show or The Ed Sullivan Show. No matter how late it was or how young we were, my mother would wake us up and trundle us down to the living room television. We’d be giddy-like Christmas. But I think even he would have found it hilarious the way today some people feel that when they’ve got their smartphone, they no longer need their brain. Jim was clearly a great visionary. But he also wanted everyone around him fully committed creatively.
Brian Jay Jones tells the story of how Henson turned a quaint art form into an entertainment empire. The New York Times sweeping portrait that is a mix of humor, mirth and poignancy. While under its spell, I felt immersed in creative energy. I experienced being in the zone-felt my synapses firing, my imagination blazing; what I would have thought incomprehensible was suddenly possible.
And so when I went home I decided that I was going to own my own business, and I opened my first business which was a Karate school, and I put a lot of money into it that I had worked for almost a year saving up and then, well I also had a small inheritance from my grandmother. But I ended up losing all of the money in the Karate school. Todd: Now did you actually know Karate? Kevin: Yes. Todd: Oh you do? Kevin: I do. Todd: I did not know that about you.
