Quartz are a British heavy metal band. Quartz dates back to as early as 1974 when they were known as Bandy Legs. They signed to Jet Records in 1976 and supported Black Sabbath and AC/DC. The band changed their name to Quartz for their 1977 debut album, Quartz. The album was produced by Tony Iommi and Quartz toured with Black Sabbath to support this release.

Double CD anthology of QUARTZ. Disc one includes the s/t(AKA Deleted) debut album. Tracks 12-15 and 17 on CD1 are previously unreleased. Disc 2 contains live tracks, though not the same recordings as are featured on the live album.

Quartz initially performed in the midlands cabaret clubs as Bandy Legs and signed to Jet Records in 1976. They switched to Quartz in time for their debut album, produced by Tony Iommi and Chris Tsangarides.
