America Must Be Destroyed is GWAR’s first instrumental song, though it features heavy use of vocal samples from legendary African American slam poetry group The Last Poets and the 1964 Stanley Kubrick film Dr. Strangelove. America Must Be Destroyed" Track Info.
Album Name America Must Be Destroyed. 版公司 Metal Blade Records. 5. The Morality Squad. 6. America Must Be Destroyed.
Firstly, 'America Must Be Destroyed' is quite an interesting little album GWAR put together. While it holds true half way on being true to their more beginning works, it has a touch of the modern GWAR Thrash, as well as a lot of half-way works not really anything. America Must Be Destroyed' isn't anything special. It features some Alternative elements, a bit of Punk driven speed, Thrash rhythm and some kind of fucked up faded vocals thing which goes through most of the song. Kind of boring, but good for a break.
War Party is the most political Gwar album since America Must Be Destroyed, tackling such subject matter as the 2004 American election and the war in Iraq in such songs as "Bring Back the Bomb", "Krosstika", "War Party", "The Reaganator" and "You Can't Kill Terror" basically Gwar pledges support to the powers who support the war, and we make such a right-wing statement that the right wing would be ashamed to have u.
This album is the follow up to the still classic "Scumdogs of the Universe" and remains the pivotal point in their career. With this album Gwar found stardom through Beavis and Butthead exposure and a decently selling home video with a (choke) plot and (snicker) acting. But apart from all of that, there was their third album: "America Must Be Destroyed. On this album Gwar takes a quasi-political stance against censorship while simultaneously penning some of the most offensive material of their career
America Must Be Destroyed. America Must Be Destroyed CD and Phallus in Wonderland DVD all in one package. Campier, less metal, GWAR album. One person found this helpful.
