Resurrection is the eighth studio album by American pop punk band New Found Glory. Released on October 7, 2014, it is the band's first album recorded as a four-piece since the departure of founding guitarist-lyricist Steve Klein in late 2013. The album also marks their debut release with independent label Hopeless Records, having concluded their previous recording contract with Epitaph Records.

New Found Glory will be touring around North America this fall to support their eighth studio album, Resurrection. It was released last year on Oct. 7 via Hopeless Records. Later this year the band will perform at the 2015 Alternative Press Music Awards with Paramore's lead vocalist Hayley Williams. The American pop punk band Yellowcard also released an album last year. It is entitled Lift a Sail, and it was the band's ninth studio album. It was not made clear on which band will close out each night

Coral Springs, Florida band New Found Glory broke into the mainstream as part of the early-2000s wave of pop-punk acts, rising to the upper tier of the genre alongside Good Charlotte, Saves the Day, and other Warped Tour-affiliated groups. Both bands have continued to release new music, give or take a hiatus or two, and their records continue to be very well-received by their devoted followings.

New Found Glory had just announced their fall tour, a co-headliner with Yellowcard. They were a gateway into finding new pop punk bands, as they sounded similar to more well-known groups, but their guitar riffs were a bit more complex and vocals a bit more nasally. Like Bowling For Soup, New Found Glory is still putting out albums and touring to this day. Must be something lucky about pop punk bands with three words in their name. Then again, maybe not that lucky. They had to drop guitarist Steve Klein after some legal trouble he got himself into. You know how great Yellowcard was? They were considered punk even though they had a freaking fiddler in their band. That's how great they were.
