In 1982, Cerrone was determined to forge ahead; and, for the Paris native, that meant paying a lot less attention to the type of Eurodisco that had endeared him to European audiences in the late 1970s.
Cerrone continued using pieces of photographic and audio erotica when he released his second album, Cerrone's Paradise . It later became a part of Cerrone VIII: Back Track. It was released on John Luongo's Portrait label, distributed by CBS.
