On January 28, 2014, Mötley Crüe held a press conference at Beacher's Madhouse Theater in Hollywood, where they announced a final tour. The band became the first to sign a binding legal document known as a "cessation of touring" contract, preventing them from touring under the name Mötley Crüe past the year 2015. The tour eventually ended with three nights at the Staples Center in the band's hometown of Los Angeles on December 28, 30 and 31st of 2015
Band Name Mötley Crüe. Album Name The End - Live in Los Angeles DVD. Type Album. 版公司 Universal Music Group Eagle Rock Entertainment. 13. Saints of Los Angeles.
Release Date: 4th November 2016. The last show on the tour was in Los Angeles where it all began in the early parts of 1981. Completing the circle by returning to Los Angeles seemed like the perfect conclusion to a career that has seen four young and hopeful guys go from playing gigs in small places, to four older guys still living the dream and playing the biggest arenas in the world. The show is by no means perfect.
The appropriately titled The End documents the last show Mötley Crüe ever gave - a 2015 New Year's Eve gig at the Staples Center in their hometown of Los Angeles. Given that this is a farewell show, it's no surprise that the band marches through their biggest hits - "Girls Girls Girls," "Smokin' in the Boys Room," "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)," "Shout at the Devil," "Dr. Feelgood," "Kickstart My Heart," "Home Sweet Home" - then serves up selections from latter-day albums.
The setlist for The End – Live in Los Angeles captures the emotion and heart of the Mötley Crüe’s career. Opening the show with the seminal 80’s classics Girls, Girls, Girls and Wild Side, the band immediately engaged the crowd. Primal Scream, Same Ol’ Situation (. and Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away) followed like a raucous freight train of fist-in-the-air anthems. A rowdy rendition of Smokin’ in the Boys Room rolled into Looks That Kill.
