Sentimental is the seventh studio album by Tanita Tikaram, released in 2005. The album was released only on the French label Naïve Records. After releasing her previous album The Cappuccino Songs in 1998, Tikaram retired from the music scene and lived in Italy for a time.

But on their second album, they channel their ferocious sound and politics into the concise, Chuck Berry-like riffs of "The American Ruse," "Looking at You" and "Shaking Street. 445. Steve Miller Band, ‘Fly Like an Eagle’. After a 1972 car accident sidelined him for nearly a year, Miller returned with a pop-rock sound that dominated Seventies radio: slick guitar boogie as catchy as Abba and as danceable as disco. He croons "For Sentimental Reasons" like a superlover, and when the crowd sings along with him, it's magic. 438. The Cure, ‘Boys Don’t Cry’. Before they became a goth-punk group, the Cure were a minimalist, inventive post-punk power trio.
This slow, sentimental song was recorded for a horror film called Ben. A lonely boy named Danny Garrison befriends a rat, naming it Ben (after he hears about the leader of a flock of killer rats); the rat becomes the boy's best friend and keeps his spirits up in the face of bullying and his terrible illness. It's one of the great songs. Moment you'll tear up: And I've seen your flag on the marble arch And love is not a victory march It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah. The album, especially its title track, was dedicated to his late father. Moment you'll tear up: If I could get another chance Another walk, another dance with him I’d play a song that would never, ever end How I’d love, love, love to dance with my father again.
Sentimental novel: Sentimental novel, broadly, any novel that exploits the reader’s capacity for tenderness, compassion, or sympathy to a disproportionate degree by presenting a beclouded or unrealistic view of its subject. Sentimental novel, broadly, any novel that exploits the reader’s capacity for tenderness, compassion, or sympathy to a disproportionate degree by presenting a beclouded or unrealistic view of its subject. In a restricted sense the term refers to a widespread European novelistic development of the 18th century, which arose partly in reaction to the austerity and rationalism of the Neoclassical period. The sentimental novel exalted feeling above reason and raised the analysis of emotion to a fine art.
Grandfather of all heavy metal. Tony Iommi is the master of riffs, with only 2 whole fingers he carved out an entire genre that was heavier and harder than anything else up to that time. Every song on Paranoid is legendary and each has several memorable riffs. Iron man is possibly the most famous riff ever and I don't even think it compares to war pigs or paranoid. Gosh every song is great, fairies wear boots, rat salad, electric funeral, planet caravan, and hand of doom. While mostly Hip Hop based it experiments with Jazz, Soul and Funk. I'm very surprised to see a new school rap album from 2015 so high up on this site. It deserves its place, and it will be remembered as the definitive 10s album. Music doesn't get much better than this, and there is no rap better than this for sure. My personal favoirte of all time.
It is a great album to wallow to. 5. Christopher Hudspeth (ThoughtCatalog). Kanye West – College Dropout It’s amazing. That album got me through a time where I was constantly commuting and I just kept it on repeat the entire time. I love it. 7. Claudio Rivera (Motion City Soundtrack). Metallica – Master of Puppets It has sentimental value to me. When I was a kid it was one of the first albums I saved for and bought with my allowance money. It’s also a great album for working out. I do bicep curls and bench, so now all the people that made fun of me for being a metal head can COME AT ME BROS! 21. Jenny Johnson (Writer).
