David P. Madson (born 1976), better known by his stage name Odd Nosdam, is an American underground hip hop producer, DJ and visual artist. He is co-founder of the record label Anticon. He has remixed tracks by a variety of bands and artists including Boards of Canada, The Notwist, and Sole. Odd Nosdam was first noticed for his production on cLOUDDEAD, the debut album released in 2001 by cLOUDDEAD, his former group with Yoni Wolf of Why? and Doseone.

Odd Nosdam is a music producer, DJ, visual artist and live performer. Having cut his teeth producing warped and bombastic beats as a member of cLOUDDEAD, Nosdam has since gone on to record and release some of the most revered work in the post-millennial, abstract hip-hop world. Through his solo productions and various collaborations and remixes, the Anticon co-founder traces an indelible strain of super-saturated, no-fi weirdness that intersects British IDM, West Coast hip-hop and ethereal drone.

Born David Madson in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1976, he first began experimenting with looping as a teenager, which eventually led to the purchase of a Dr. Sample and eight-track player while he was a student at the Art Academy of Cincinnati.
