I'm a Boy" is a 1966 rock song written by Pete Townshend for the Who. The song, like other early recordings by the band, such as "I Can't Explain", "The Kids Are Alright" and "Happy Jack", centres on the early power pop genre. The song was originally intended to be a part of a rock opera called 'Quads' which was to be set in the future where parents can choose the sex of their children. The idea was later scrapped, but this song survived and was later released as a single.

I’m a Boy. The Who. Produced by Kit Lambert. One girl was called Jean Marie Another little girl was called Felicity Another little girl was Sally Joy The other was me, and I'm a boy. My name is Bill and I'm a headcase They practice making up on my face Yeah, I feel lucky if I get trousers to wear Spend evenings taking hairpins from my hair. This is about a boy whose mother wants him to be a girl, while the boy longs to assert his real sexual identity. The controversial subject of cross-dressing was probably the reason why this failed to reach the American Top 100. "I’m a Boy" Track Info. Written By Pete Townshend. Release Date August 26, 1966.

It’s a boy mrs. walker it’s a boy. Nurse: Nurse: It’s a boy Mrs. It’s a boy mrs. A son! A son!

I’m a Boy (Non-album single, 1966). Released in August 1966, "I'm a Boy" let Who fans know that Townshend was interested in topics well beyond typical pop-song subject matter. The story of a boy whose parents dress him up like a girl was originally meant to be part of a rock opera called Quads that Townshend never completed. But the notion of a child tortured by his parents came back two years later when he began work on Tommy. Recorded in 1972, the song was originally intended to be part of Rock Is Dead – Long Live Rock, an unfinished autobiographical 1972 album that morphed into Quadrophenia. Long Live Rock" wouldn't get an official release until the 1974 collection Odds and Sods, with Townshend writing in the liner notes that "there are dozens of these self-conscious hymns to the last 15 years appearing now, and here's another on.

Fall Out Boy. Five Finger Death Punch. I could learn to pity fools as I'm the worst of all, Я мог бы сказать всем дуракам, что я хуже всех. I can't stop feeling sorry for myself. И я не могу остановиться жалеть себ. e only want to sing you to sleep in your bedroom speakers, Мы только хотим укачать тебя песней из твоих динамиков в спальне. We need umbrellas on the inside

Boy is the debut studio album by Irish rock band U2. It was released on 20 October 1980 by Island Records and was produced by Steve Lillywhite. Boy contains many songs from the band's 40-song catalogue at the time, including two tracks that were re-recorded from their original versions on their debut release, the EP Three. Boy was recorded from July to September 1980 at Dublin's Windmill Lane Studios, which became U2's chosen recording location during the 1980s.
