Seaweed is an American band from Tacoma, Washington who were active throughout the 1990s. Their style of music is a combination of punk rock and grunge. In their early days, Seaweed were signed to Washington's Sub Pop, but later released albums on Hollywood Records and Merge Records. Seaweed's contemporaries during the time of their existence included Mudhoney, Samiam, Jawbreaker, and tourmates Superchunk and Quicksand

I would recommend this to any fan of rock music. Seaweed is a hidden gem of the early 90's Northwest scene. Their music is a mix of grunge and pop punk, and it works really well. You can tell these guys had great chemistry together. This album wastes no time, almost all of the songs are under 3 minutes. Most songs will have quick intro-buildup and then they jump straight into it. Every song on here has strong melodies, and they are played very confidently. The drumming is great and manages the ups and downs of the music very well.
