Amorica (stylized as amorica. is the third studio album by American rock band The Black Crowes. Spawned from the band's unreleased, scrapped album Tall, Amorica was released November 1, 1994 on American Recordings and reissued in the UK in 1998 with two bonus tracks. The record notably featured an explicit cover that displayed a woman's crotch wearing a United States flag thong with pubic hair sticking out, taken from the cover of the July 1976 issue of Hustler magazine.

Amorica The overall mastering for this entire album is just bad. Super compressed, lacks definition, lacks, well pretty much everything. Us consumers need to start sticking it back to these lousy quality record manufacturers. Responder Notifique-me Helpful.

On Amorica, the Black Crowes finally come into their own, taking their cue from the most relaxed, groove-oriented tracks on their previous album. While the album contains no immediately obvious singles, the songs are the best the band has ever written, stretching out into a hard, jam-oriented, funky blues-rock

The Black Crowes' third album, Amorica, soldiers on with the classic lineup that made The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion such an artistic success. Guitarist Marc Ford and keyboardist Eddie Harsch proved to be the perfect foil for Chris and Rich Robinson's ideas on songwriting and classic rock. Together with drummer Steve Gorman and bassist Johnny Colt, the Crowes were unstoppable, expanding their sound beyond The Rolling Stones and The Faces to include further elements of The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Humble Pie, and Little Feat to their approach.

The album opens in misleading fashion. The hard hitting Gone is backed by a huge scratchy blues riff and backed by a dirty groove supplanted with Latino rhythms. The flow is a striking change of methodology to the Southern Baptist feel scattered throughout their previous album. A Conspiracy follows, and is the most formulaic rock track present, backed with a palm muted riff and jangly melodic chorus
