Wretch 32 is the stage alter ego of Jermaine Sinclair, a British rapper from London's Tottenham. Originally an MC on the grime scene, Sinclair was an original member of the Combination Chain Gang collective before creating new band The Movement. Sinclair's father was a reggae DJ in Tottenham's Tiverton Estate, and Sinclair cites a range of influences on his early musical style, beginning with reggae and moving through the UK's urban hip-hop and grime scenes. Wretch 32's first studio album, Wretchrospective, was released in 2008 just before he signed up to the Ministry. The second release from the album was Unorthodox, on which Wretch collaborated with Example. The single Don't Go was released in August 2011 and featured Josh Kumra, and Forgiveness was released in December of that year, featuring Etta Bond.
