Storyteller toured the local jazz and folk clubs in the UK and were signed by Transatlantic Records recording two albums 'Storyteller', produced by Peter Frampton and 'More Pages'. The group appeared on the same bill with The Humblebums (Gerry Rafferty and Billy Connolly), Hawkwind, and Vinegar Joe (Elkie Brooks and Robert Palmer) during their time.

Downtown Train is a compilation album released by Rod Stewart in March 1990 (see 1990 in music). It was a US only release by Warner Bros. Records (WEA 926 158-1/2).
