Exponentia is a musical project created in 2012 by Ludovic Dhenry. The music is gothic, darkwave, electronic, with influences from classical and baroque music. The atmosphere is phantasmagorical and fantastic, creatures and dark emotions run through the work. Lyrics are highlighted by a demonic vocals, transformed with an electronic multi-effects processor.

Exponentia is a French act on Neris Records. It was started in 2012 and since then has released four albums. The project describes its style as a mixture of gothic, classical, darkwave and electronic music. Ludovic Dhenry is the man behind it, and is responsible for the cover artwork, arrangements, orchestration, production, mixing, mastering and vocals. His vocal style is dark and demonic and is electronically modified

Abend is the 4th full length released on his own label Neris Records. Content: The previous work Ghost (2014) revealed an interesting progression in sound and global production while holding on to the gothic and neo-classic influences of the early beginning work. Abend sounds quite similar in influences and writing. Conclusion: Exponentia once again reveals great artistic ideas and I really like the DIY attitude of this artist, but sometimes you maybe have to reconsider some points of view like working with other musicians to get more authenticity and real emotion into your work.
