Nach der Einführung der erfolgreichen Serie "THE ORIGINAL MAXI-SINGLES COLLECTION", neben FANCY und SILENT CIRCLE gehört auch BAD BOYS BLUE zu den wichtigsten Disco Pop Acts der 80er. Der kommerzielle Durchbruch der Band, gelingt erst mit der zweiten Hit Single: "You're A Woman", die im rasantem tempo, die Spitzenplätze der europäische Charts erreichte.
