Karen Tobin (born in Pennsylvania) is a female country music singer. After relocating to Los Angeles, California in 1980, Tobin was signed to Arista Records. She released two singles for the label, but no album was ever released. After being discovered by Keith Stegall, she recorded several demos before being signed to a recording contract with Atlantic Records Nashville in 1991. Tobin's debut album, Carolina Smokey Moon, was released in October 1991

Amon Tobin Brazilian-born Amon Tobin first emerged between 1994-1995 with a string of 12" singles on the small London-based record label 9Bar Records. The album that followed, Adventures In Foam, paved the way for a whole generation of electronic productions and prompted his signing to the prodigious Ninja Tune in 1996.

Carolina Moon is a 2007 American television film directed by Stephen Tolkin and starring Claire Forlani and Oliver Hudson. Based on the Nora Roberts novel Carolina Moon, the film is about a woman with psychic visions who returns to her hometown to exorcise her demons and finds both danger and love. Carolina Moon is part of the Nora Roberts 2007 movie collection, which also includes Angels Fall, Blue Smoke, and Montana Sky. The movie debuted February 19, 2007 on Lifetime Television.
