The Libertines is the second album by English indie rock band The Libertines. Polly Jean "PJ" Harvey (née le 9 octobre 1969 à Yeovil, Angleterre) est une interprète britannique de rock alternatif. Elle a commencé sa carrière en tant que chanteuse et guitariste dans le trio PJ Harvey qu'elle forme avec Rob Ellis (batterie/chœurs) et Steve Vaughan (basse). Son premier album 'Dry' est sorti en 1992. En 1996 la chanteuse sort un album en collaboration avec John Parish, Dance Hall at Louse Point, sur lequel les textes de PJ Harvey accompagnent la musique de Parish.
