Christopher Joseph Ward (born October 8, 1965), better known as C. J. Ramone, is an American musician best known for working as the bassist, backing and occasional lead vocalist of the punk rock group the Ramones from 1989 to 1996. He is one of the four surviving members of the Ramones, along with three of their drummers Marky Ramone, Richie Ramone, and Elvis Ramone. Christopher J. Ward was born in Queens, New York City, United States, though he lived in Deer Park, New York for most of his early life.

American Beauty is CJ Ramone’s third solo album and was recorded with the stellar backing band of Steve Soto (Adolescents), Dan Root (Adolescents), and Pete Sosa (Street Dogs). Out March 17th, the 12-song effort crackles with the spirit of ’76 and a sound and style true to the Ramones. CJ and his band have been on the road a lot since we released his last album, Last Chance to Dance, in 2014.
