Martin Roth turns in an astonishing progressive trancer with this release, the likes of which I don't think I've heard in a new release in several years. It reminds me of some of the deeper, darker, and more atmospheric tracks that were ubiquitous in the golden 2003-2004 era of progressive trance. It firmly strays from the stereotypical conventions that plagued so much of trance in 2009, leaving it clearly an outlier in terms of the present. The bassline sounds very tight, hypnotic, and rhythmic. The general progression of the different elements just leaves you in a constant state of suspense and anticipation until the song unleashes a most perfect melody to fit the mood late in the song. This is ideal progressive trance and I can't highly recommend it enough.
