The Golden Age is the debut studio album from French singer-songwriter and director Woodkid. It was released on March 18, 2013 through independent label, Green United Music.

Dizzy Wright – The Golden Age 2. Problem – Chachiville. What a year 2017 turned out to be. Incredible and impeccable musical achievements were presented in various forms. This was truly a year that showed that one should never pinpoint Hip Hop as dying or that it’s on life support due to mumble rap or the like. I've followed Hip Hop culture since I first got introduced to it when I was a mere seven years of age. Among the albums that ha. oin the discussion.

The happy, rhythmically infectious music known as ragtime flourished internationally between the late 1890s and 1920. During the genre's most popular period, 1910-1920, patrons could drop a coin in a player piano and hear the latest by Eubie Blake and Jelly Roll Morton. While both ragtime and player pianos have passed from the scene, post-millennium listeners can return to that heady time by simply picking up a copy of The Greatest Ragtime of the Century.

The album is marked by a thematic preoccupation with degenerate art (Entartete Kunst).

The term Golden Age comes from Greek mythology, particularly the Works and Days of Hesiod, and is part of the description of temporal decline of the state of peoples through five Ages, Gold being the first and the one during which the Golden Race of humanity (Greek: χρύσεον γένος chrýseon génos) lived. Those living in the first Age were ruled by Kronos, after the finish of the first age was the Silver, then the Bronze, after this the Heroic age, with the fifth and current age being Iron.
