The Best of Dick & Dee Dee is a well-chosen 12-song best-of that includes all their chart hits. The Mountain's High" and "Thou Shalt Not Steal" remain the clear highlights, though some of the rest is interesting early-'60s pop fare. Includes is the rare 1965 single "Blue Turns to Grey," a Jagger, Richards cover produced by Andrew Loog Oldham that has the Stones themselves on backing instruments and vocals.

A new version of Last. Dick & Dee Dee. The Best of Dick & Dee Dee. Overview (current section).

Combining close harmony featuring Dee Dee's hauntingly captivating voice with contemporary arrangements, they produced rockin' hits (The Mountain's High) and beautiful ballads (Young and In Love), most of which Dick penned himself. This collection offers 12 of their best, remastered to Varese Sarabande's usual high standards. It will make you feel, well, young and in love again.

Dick and Dee Dee (or Dick and Deedee) is an American singer-songwriter duo that reached popularity in the early to mid-1960s. The group was founded by California classmates Mary Sperling and Richard Gosting. They eventually changed their names to Dee Dee Sperling (currently Dee Dee Phelps) and Dick St. John. Disbanding, revivals. In 1965, Dee Dee married the duo's manager (later executive television producer for Dick Clark Productions), Bill Lee, and had one son. In 1969, St. John and Sperling parted ways. Dick St. John continued as a songwriter, co-writing "Yellow Balloon" for the group of the same name. After her divorce in the early seventies, Dee Dee married Kane Phelps and moved to Big Sur for the remainder of that decade
