Gary Taylor switched from A&M to Virgin with this late-'80s album. It contained a pair of above-average productions and performances with "Tease Me" and "Love To The Limit. The only thing missing was sustained interest from the audience. The title track cracked the R&B Top 40, but didn't last, and Taylor wasn't able to get the breakout track that might have given him a shot at solo stardom. He continued to crank out singles, with The Manhattans, Mac Band, and Lalah Hathaway all recording his songs after this album.

Compassion is the second studio album by British electronic music artist Forest Swords, released on 5 May 2017. The album is Forest Swords' second, following 2013's Engravings. The first single from the album, "The Highest Flood", was released on 7 March 2017. Compassion was announced on 30 March 2017, and accompanied by another track from the album, "Arms Out", featuring a video directed by Sam Wiehl and Forest Swords himself.

The album showcases eight original compositions featuring Motley in multiple trio settings. The tracks feature vocalist Veronica Tate, drummers Emrah Kotan and Terreon Gully along with bassists Billy Thornton and Craig Shaw and saxophonist Teodross Avery. Horns to Havana hosts one week residency in Havana, January 3-9. Motley joins 2015 Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame Inductees.
