Staying Power is the twentieth and final studio album by American R&B singer Barry White, released on July 27, 1999. The album was White's first release for five years, and his only recording for the Private Music label, with whom he had signed following a four-album deal with A&M which had culminated in 1994 with the acclaimed The Icon Is Love, his most successful album since the 1970s.

The body of a stowaway was found in the garden of a south London home after falling from a jet as it passed overhead. Police and airline officials say the man fell from the landing gear of the plane as it approached London's Heathrow Airport after a nine-hour flight from Nairobi, Kenya. The Metropolitan Police force confirmed the body of an unidentified man was found in a south London garden on Sunday, and it's believed he fell from a plane.
For George Ezra's second album, 'Staying At Tamara's, he decamped to Barcelona for inspiration. The answer, it transpires, was to head to Barcelona, where Ezra decamped to write a second album that takes his jaunty charm and injects it with a vital slice of maturity. It’s teeming with uplifting tunes intent on burrowing their way into the deepest recesses of your ears. Opener ‘Happy Smiling People’ sees Ezra anchoring an infectious chorus around dark and world-weary lyrics: What a terrible time to be alive if you’re prone to overthinking, he croons, before offering a message of upbeat and hearty resilience ( Hey pretty smiling people, we’re alright together ).
On Staying at Tamara’s, he follows the path trodden by Sheeran between x and ÷, stripping the intriguing darkness out of his music in favour of near-relentless positivity. This might seem cynical if cynicism weren’t so thoroughly absent from the album, which instead nobly sets out to bring cheer to the world in uncertain times, and reassure the anxious that it’s fine to check out of the news cycle if it’s messing with their mind. The second thing that saves Staying at Tamara’s is its disarming likability. With his optimistic baritone, Ezra has the boyish gravitas of a youth pastor, and as artless as his lyrics are, his hooks stick firm in the mind. These are songs destined to soundtrack supermarket adverts extolling the convivial virtues of barbecuing.
More Women Staying Home. Benefits to Older Kids. There's no shortage of opinions about women who stay home to raise their kids. More Women Are Becoming Stay-at-Home Moms. We're not living in a "Leave It to Beaver" world anymore, where 49 percent of women in 1967 were stay-at-home moms with a working husband.
