Pearly Kings and Queens, known as pearlies, are an organised charitable tradition of working class culture in London, England. The practice of wearing clothes decorated with mother-of-pearl buttons is first associated with Henry Croft (1861-1930), an orphan street sweeper who collected money for charity. At the time, London costermongers (street traders) were in the habit of wearing trousers decorated at the seams with pearl buttons that had been found by market traders.
Tambourine Man is the debut album by the American folk rock band the Byrds and was released in June 1965 on Columbia Records (see 1965 in music). Shade is an old 90's Vertigo comic featuring the work of Peter Milligan .
Ditko co-created Spider-Man and Doctor Strange alongside Stan Lee for Marvel comics before leaving to work for DC in 1966. Justice League Dark by Peter Milligan/Jeff Lemire and Mikel Janín.
Changing Currents by Julien Mier, released 16 September 2015 1. It's Slightly Open 2. Yesterday's Downpour 3. I Refuse To Remain Silent 4. Caught In The Chest 5. Burnt Up 6. Burnt Up (Yosi Horikawa remix) 7. Caught In The Chest (Magical Mistakes remix) Living in the Dutch countryside, Julien Mier spent the last several years crafting heavily melodic and carefully textured pieces that engage the listener both cognitively and emotionally . In the increasingly maximalist world of electronic music, Changing Currents confidently espouses the value of minimalism, reducing each instrument to its most rewarding timbres, and comfortably discarding the expected tropes of the genre.
