Wizzard were an English glam rock band formed by Roy Wood, former member of the Move and co-founder of the Electric Light Orchestra. The Guinness Book of 500 Number One Hits states, "Wizzard was Roy Wood just as much as Wings was Paul McCartney. They are most famous for their 1973 Christmas song "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday"

Too Much Too Soon is the second album by the American hard rock band New York Dolls. It was released on May 10, 1974, by Mercury Records. The album was recorded earlier that year at A&R Studios in New York City with veteran producer Shadow Morton. He had been enlisted by New York Dolls frontman David Johansen after the group felt dissatisfied with the recording of their 1973 self-titled debut album

There's plenty of dual-guitar lead action, including traded solos, too, which is always a plus. The lyrics, of course, are patent nonsense, with songs like "Live Free or Die" and the title track offering positive-thinking mantras Ronnie James Dio would love. They have their own theme song, too; "White Wizzard" kicks off with a doomy intro, quickly becoming a midtempo, primarily instrumental anthem with a prominent bassline in the classic Iron Maiden style

Over the Top is the debut album by heavy metal band White Wizzard released on February 8, 2010 in Europe and March 9, 2010 in North America, through Earache Records. The Guinness Book of 500 Number One Hits states, "Wizzard was Roy Wood just as much as Wings were Paul McCartney. Not long after the release of Electric Light Orchestra's first album, Wood found himself frequently at odds with co-leader Jeff Lynne.

I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday. Also featured on. +134 other releases. As with the vast majority of Wizzard songs, it was penned and produced by Roy Wood. Merry Xmas Everybody. I Believe in Father Christmas.

The Boy Who Knew Too Much (album). The Boy Who Knew Too Much is the second studio album by singer Mika. It was released on 21 September 2009, under Republic in the United States and Island in the United Kingdom. Mika worked with producer Greg Wells, who also produced his debut album Life in Cartoon Motion. The album was written in Olympic Studios, London, which began in June 2008.

Indeed, Wizzard occasionally sounded absolutely nothing like Wizzard, or at least not like the version whose songs got in the singles charts. Their debut album, Wizzard Brew, bore almost no resemblance to their singles: the 13-minute-long Meet Me at the Jailhouse opens with a heavy riff, stops dead, goes into an extended passage of unaccompanied free-sax improvisation, then turns into a kind of stomping, wilfully ungainly boogie track, replete with much nosily atonal soloing.
