Philippe Hallais, aka Low Jack (born 1985), is an electronic music composer and DJ, living in Paris. For four years, he has been tightening together club-oriented and experimental music sounds, and acting as a DJ and live performer in clubs and the digital arts & music festival circuit. Hallais was born in Tegucigalpa (Honduras). He entered the music world through a series of dance music EPs, with the Slow Dance EP charting on Clone Slow Dance, Free Pyjamas, Like It Soft and Flashes show hi. .

His first album, 2014's Garifuna Variations on . Noise and its various manifestations are his staple, though again, he's never been part of any particular scene defined by its stylistic boundaries (in contrast with the importance of his immediate geographical surroundings – he's a firm part of the "new" Parisian scene, based around labels like In Paradisum). Though a glance at his track titles - 'Lube Money', 'Free Pyjamas', 'Imaginary Boogie' – shows it's obvious that Hallais is not a poker-faced, black-clad artiste taking himself too seriously. Low Jack is a 2015 SHAPE alumnus. SHAPE is a new platform for emerging sound and audiovisual artists supported by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
