The Royal Teens were an American rock and roll band that formed in New Jersey in 1956 and consisted of Bob Gaudio on piano, Tom Austin on drums, Billy Dalton on guitar, and Billy Crandall on saxophone. The group is best known for its single "Short Shorts", which was a hit in the United States in 1958. The follow-up single, 1959's "Believe Me", hit They never recorded an album, and broke up in 1965.

They do, however, provide both sides of the failed single My Memories Of You b/w Little Trixie which, recorded back in 1959, were released as Mighty 200 in August 1961! Tracks 4, 5 and 9 only appeared for the first time in the 1974 LP "Original Short Shorts And Others - Music Gems From The Royal Teens (Tru-Gems T-G 1001). The sound quality is decent enough, and it does come with rudimentary liner notes written by Mark Marymont.
