Formed in Welwyn Garden City in 1976 from the ashes of the hippy band Masque (think hybrid early Genesis and Van der Graaf), this rather strangely named band was one of those cast of thousands destined to obscurity and the eternal gig circuit for one reason or another.

Strangers in the Night. 1966 single by Frank Sinatra. This article is about the song. Campbell did not know the song and busked his way through the first take while listening to the tune. Sinatra was used to recording in a single take, and when told he would have to sing it again, he glared at Campbell and shouted, "Is that guy with us or is he sleeping?"  . Johnny Dorelli In Italian as "Solo Più Che Mai" in 1966, and in English for his album "L'Immensità" in 1967. Petula Clark for her 1966 album I Couldn't Live Without Your Love.

Strangers in the night exchanging glances Wondering in the night, what were the chances? We'd be sharing love before the night was through  . It was the title track for Sinatra’s most commercially successful album, Strangers in the Night which garnered three Grammy Awards in 1967. What have the artists said about the song? Sinatra’s widow, Barbara, once recalled that Sinatra called the single a piece of s - - t and the worst f - - king song I’ve ever heard.

The Strangers is a 2008 American slasher film written and directed by Bryan Bertino. The plot follows Kristen (Liv Tyler) and James (Scott Speedman) whose stay at a vacation home is disrupted by three masked criminals who infiltrate the home. Writer-director Bertino was inspired by real-life events: the Manson family Tate murders, a multiple homicide; the Keddie Cabin Murders, that occurred in Merrill, WI and a series of break-ins that occurred in his own neighborhood as a child

Strangers in the Night marked Frank Sinatra's return to the top of the pop charts in the mid-'60s, and it consolidated the comeback he started in 1965. Although he later claimed he disliked the title track, the album was an inventive, rich effort from Sinatra, one that established him as a still-viable star to a wide, mainstream audience without losing the core of his sound

Strangers In A Strange Land. Pop music with a reverence for the past yet it’s eye fixed firmly on the future. CHECK IT OUT Here is the lead cut from the Strangers In A Strange Land album, the groovy phased version of The Taxidermist.
