For the country rock band active in the early 1980s, see Snuff (country rock band). Snuff are a British punk rock band formed in Hendon in 1986. Their name reportedly came about after a long discussion about names ended up with one of them claiming "That's Enough", which was then shortened to Snuff
Snuff" is a song by American heavy metal band Slipknot. Released as the fifth single from their fourth album All Hope Is Gone on September 28, 2009, the song charted at number two on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, their highest-charted single to date, surpassing "Dead Memories". Roadrunner Records placed "Snuff" at number 6 for its greatest music videos of all time. The song was also nominated for Best Single at the Kerrang! Awards 2010, but lost to "Liquid Confidence" by You Me at Six.
Snuff is the eleventh song on the album All Hope Is Gone. This is the slow one. Its another personal on. gain, not naming names its about someone who helped me through a lot and i thought she felt the same way that i did and she really let me down. At the same time, it was good that she did, because it was that final push to me figuring out myself. The lyrics are pretty self explanatory.
Snuff" comes from their 2008 album All Hope Is Gone, which ranked a couple of fewer platinums than their previous albums but sold gold and platinum in more countries worldwide than ever before, also hitting on album charts in 5 countries. This indicates that maybe Slipknot is headed for "cult" status, dodging mainstream success but being in for a very loyal niche popularity. Even in their home town of Des Moines, Iowa, they seldom make news
Label: Filth And Violence – FILTH-13. A concept album based on the 2001 murder of a Lithuanian prostitute in Helsinki. Phone is all brooding shit electronics and warped, sadistic laughter dragging endlessly for 16 minutes. Kristiina and Metro both feature delayed hateful vocals on top of a vicious onslaught of metal abuse and feedback screech.
Bury all your secrets in my skin Come away with innocence, and leave me with my sins The air around me still feels like a cage And love is just a camouflage for what resembles rage again. So if you love me, let me go And run away before I know My heart is just too dark to care I can't destroy what isn't there Deliver me into my fate If I'm alone I cannot hate I don't deserve to have you Ooh my smile was taken long ago If I can change I. hope I never know.
