Juaneco y su Combo is the most important band from Pucallpa, Peru, known for their "cumbia selvática" (cumbia from the jungle). The group got formed in the early 1960s by Juan Wong Paredes and started recording with his group for the label "IMSA", but finally had success by releasing on "Infopesa".
