Suburban Delay was a Scottish Techno band originally formed in 1991 by Gordon Tennant and Alastair Angus. They were signed by and released their first single through the popular Scottish Dance label 'Clubscene Records' and then Zomba "Energy Rush". The band were popular on the Scottish Dance Scene in the early 1990's and performed at many Rave music venues including Rezerection and Hangar 13. The original 1992 line was Gordon Tennant, Alistair Angus, Gary Gilchrist & Michelle Hutcheson.

Gordon & Technotrance formed Suburban Delay in 1991 and wrote their first track 'Energy Rush'. Gordon later performed all over the UK with Suburban Delay and later went on to perform as D-Tox which had a much harder edge. His sister is Gillian Tennant.
