David Snell is one of those tireless talents who is top drawer by any standards. Even though this album helps to define the Easy Listening genre this does not imply a lack of originality or diminish its importance in any way. For Easy Listening read relaxing, restful, jazzy and playful. An original approach to well known melodies from a great talent. A shame a follow up album doesn't exist.
David Snell (March 28, 1921 – July 1987) was a reporter and cartoonist for Life Magazine, a major 20th-century magazine, and several other publications during his career as a journalist. David Snell (no middle name) was born in Minden in Webster Parish in northwestern Louisiana, to John Barnard ". Snell (1884–1959) and the former Ada Jack Carver (1890–1972)
Snell's law (also known as Snell–Descartes law and the law of refraction) is a formula used to describe the relationship between the angles of incidence and refraction, when referring to light or other waves passing through a boundary between two different isotropic media, such as water, glass, or air. In optics, the law is used in ray tracing to compute the angles of incidence or refraction, and in experimental optics to find the refractive index of a material
