Colin Edward Michael Blunstone (born 24 June 1945) is an English singer, songwriter and musician. In a career spanning more than 50 years, Blunstone came to prominence in the mid 1960s as the lead singer of the English rock band the Zombies, which released four singles that entered the Top 75 charts in the United States during the 1960s, including "She's Not There", "Tell Her No", "She's Coming Home", and "Time of the Season". A later album and DVD Colin Blunstone & Rod Argent of the Zombies Live at the Bloomsbury Theatre were well received, as was their 2007 US tour . When You Close Your Eyes", "Good Guys Don't Always Win" – Epic EPC4576.
Other popular Colin Blunstone lyrics are: MIles Away, Keep The Curtains Closed Today and Who's That Knocking
Colin Blunstone: Planes. The title track from Blunstone's 1976 album was a cover of an Elton John/Bernie Taupin number. Even with this influence, the song failed to chart. Colin Blunstone: Photograph. This single from 1978 is a track from Blunstone's album Never Even Thought. Despite a wonderful melody and powerfully wistful vocal, this release went the way of his then recent output. Colin Blunstone: I Want Some More. An album track from the 1972 album, Ennismore. Colin Blunstone : Smokey Day. Album track from Blunstone's first solo album, One Year. Colin Blunstone: Losing Your. Wonderful" (September 1973). It's Magical" (May 1974). When You Close Your Eyes". Planes" (November 1976). Beautiful You" (February 1977).

However, Blunstone's voice is better suited to the styles employed throughout his first two LPs, in particular the melancholy string backings of One Year. As a result, Journey is somewhat of a mixed bag. Colin's chart success has tended to come when he's worked in a style better suited to his voice (. Say You Don't Mind"), and Journey failed to spawn a hit single. Still, for Blunstone aficionados, the best tracks on Journey make it a worthwhile effort
