Zero 7 are an English musical duo consisting of Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker. They began as studio engineers and in 1997 formed the group Zero 7. Their debut album, Simple Things, was released in 2001. Subsequent albums include When It Falls, The Garden, and Yeah Ghost.

Zero 7 - Simple Science EP When they broke through with their debut album, Simple Things, back in 2001, Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker's floaty downtempo marked them out as a Anglo version of Air, minus the extravagant fringes. Not too much has changed in their world since-until now, perhaps. Despite its four-year gestation, Simple Science isn't quite the tectonic shift it thinks it is, but it does make some determined sorties towards the dance floor.

Simple Things is the debut studio album by Zero 7, released on 23 April 2001. It peaked at number 28 on the UK Albums Chart, staying in the chart for 56 weeks. It was nominated for the Mercury Prize.

We plan to put out two 12's, the first includes another track featuring the gorgeous Danny Pratt entitled 'Simple Science. On the flip is a dub of an unreleased song called 'Red, Blue and Green. 12" no. 2 includes previous digital release 'Take Me Away' featuring (the one and) 'Only Girl  . and as always, massive thanks and we'll be back with more new material from the album proper in the Autumn.
