And the Forests Dream Eternally is the debut EP by Polish extreme metal band Behemoth. It was released in August 1995, through Italian label Enthopy Records. The EP was recorded in July 1994 in Warrior Studio. Pure Evil and Hate" is a tribute to Bathory. It is one of the band's most popular songs and is often a closer for live performances. The EP was re-released in 1997 by Last Episode Records in a split with Forbidden Spaces by Polish black metal band Damnation.

Traveling Landscapes is a series of dioramas with which the American artist Kathleen Vance aims to raise our awareness to nature. She is an American sculptor and the author of Traveling Landscapes: mini ecosystems kept in trunks and old leather suitcases. An idea that has its roots in the memories of the artist, helpless spectator of the change over the years that has transformed the colorful landscapes of Maryland in gray and unifying urban spaces. A disturbing change that has influenced her entire artistic career, now oriented to the protection and preservation not only of environments and native landscapes but of all those places where progress paves the way to civilization through sweltering concrete casting.

With the series entitled Traveling Landscapes, vignettes of nature are encapsulated within steamer trunks and train cases aged through travel. Displaced elements indicative of natural landscapes are presented in partially opened cases, as to not fully expose the delicateness of what is contained within. Streams and rivers activate the scenes as they course through the landscapes contained within the cases. The illusion of life and growth, illuminated within, reflects the desire to capture a part of nature untouched by humans.

The bucolic scenes harken to a place out of time and a romanticism of nature, she explains, with lush foliage and flowing streams. These relaxing scenarios consider personal land ownership, water rights and the need for stewardship and preservation of our green areas and water sources. These works bring nature back into ones every day life and the hurried pace of each person’s travels can be slowed to a moment of respite for contemplation and reflection.
