Bartolomé Maximiliano Moré (24 August 1919 – 19 February 1963), known as Benny Moré, Bení Moré or Beny Moré (in Spanish), was a Cuban singer, bandleader and songwriter. Due to his fluid tenor voice and his great expressivity, he was known variously as El Bárbaro del Ritmo and El Sonero Mayor. Moré was a master of most Cuban popular genres, such as the bolero, son montuno, mambo, and guaracha. Moré formed and led the Banda Gigante, one of the leading Cuban big bands of the 1950s.
Oh, Vida! 34. Ya Llego La Hora. 36. !Ay! Como Me Gusta. 38. De La Rumba Al Chachacha. 39. Como Arrullo De Palma. 40. Santa Isabel De Las Lajas. Beny More' is rightly considered the greatest overall Cuban singer and performer. I'm guessing that many people who love music have thought of whose voice they would have if they could choose one. Cooke, Elvis, and Sinatra usually come out on top for me, but Beny always manages more than a passing consideration. He was a complete singer, equally comfortable with slow boleros or the fastest uptempo Afro-Cuban music. He worked in a number of bands including the Trio Matamoros and Perez Prado.
Ya Llego La Hora 08. Oye Una Cancion Para Ti 09. Busco Tu Olvido 1.
