Ricky Warwick (born 11 July 1966, Newtownards, County Down, Northern Ireland) is a Northern Irish musician and songwriter, and the lead singer with Black Star Riders and Thin Lizzy. He is also the frontman for the Scottish hard rock band The Almighty, with whom he achieved chart success in the UK throughout the 1990s, although the band is currently on hiatus.

Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott co-produced Ricky Warwick's acoustic solo album in 2014 and it is released today. Hearts On Trees' was recorded at Joe's Garage studios in Dublin during April 2014 and was co-produced by Joe Elliott and Ronan McHugh. It was funded via Pledge music campaign and released via their site in 2015. At the same time an electric album called 'When Patsy Cline Was Crazy (And Guy Mitchell Sang The Blues)' was also released the same way. Both albums have now been released as a double CD package today via Nuclear Blast records.

Hearts On Trees’ finds Ricky in a reflective mood, again with some songs looking back to the troubled and divided streets where he was raised. Anyone who witnessed the Warwick/ Johnson acoustic shows last year will know that Ricky has the ability to be just as hard hitting unplugged as he is when fully amped. Here Ricky veers from the quiet and soothing like on the title track to the fast and furious stomp of ‘Schwaben Redoubt’. Again the playing on all tracks is top notch and in the acoustic setting Ricky’s heartfelt vocals come shining through
