The Shandia is a tribe of people originating from the Moon and later lived on Jaya. They currently reside within Skypiea. Their dress generally resembles that of Native Americans and their skin is often decorated with tattoos that cover large areas of their bodies (leading the Straw Hats to constantly refer to them as "guerrillas").

The Young Ones is a soundtrack album by Cliff Richard and the Shadows to the film of the same name. It is their first soundtrack album and Richard's sixth album overall. It was produced by Norrie Paramor, with music by Ronald Cass and Stanley Black. The album topped the UK Albums Chart for six weeks (with another eleven weeks at number two) and charted for 42 weeks in total when the chart was a top twenty.

Shandia (pronounced SHAN-dya) is a village located in the rainforest of eastern Ecuador. It is inhabited mostly by indigenous peoples of the Kichwa Nationality. It was used as a mission station by missionaries Jim Elliot and Pete Fleming from 1952 to 1954. Fleming later married and moved to a different station, but the Elliots stayed there until Jim's death in 1956
