Some Great Big Youth. Great may be too extravagant a term for this ten-song compilation. Entertaining would be appropriate. The set is culled from cuts released by Big Youth's own Negusa Negast label, mostly from the late '70s through the very early '80s. So, obviously this set does not capture the DJ at the height of his prowess, but still contains some worthwhile material. This is some great vintage footage that goes waaaaay back. A young Big Youth rockin’ it. At the time this was taken Big youth was arguably the most popular DJ in Jamaica and could have probably successfully run for Prime Minister, such was his popularity.
