It features Mike Heron, Robin Williamson, Licorice McKechnie, and Malcolm Le Maistre. The core of Robin Williamson and Mike Heron remained intact, but was faltering due to musical indifference. Licorice McKechnie, the remainder of the former girlfriends, would depart after the release of the album. This album, compared to its predecessors, is a more generic folk album.

Mike Heron (born James Michael Heron, 27 December 1942, Edinburgh) is a Scottish singer, songwriter and t, best known for his work in the The Incredible String Band in the 1960s and 1970s.
