Complete your Charlie Parker collection. Although I appreciate that London Records was a US label, it was also a UK label. I have the record with the same serial number as on this page and it was "Made in England" so the country should be changed to UK unless it can be proved there was a US release with the same serial number.

These 1991 digital remasters of Charlie Parker's Savoy recordings are for the most part extremely clean-sounding, allowing the listener to check out the work of the definitive bebop master without feeling like they've tuned in to the Scratchy Record Hour. The cuts on VOLUME 2 were recorded between 1944 and 1948 with a band that included Miles Davis on trumpet and Max Roach on drums, with either John Lewis or Bud Powell on piano and Curly Russell, Tommy Potter or Nelson Boyd on bass.
