Having invented the concept of after-hours clubbing 15 years ago through the legendary Trade, Turnmills looks set to reinstate its crown as the Sunday after-hours to end all others with a brand new invention from the oddball brainwave of Tim Sheridan. Sheridan is the debut studio album by English singer and actress Sheridan Smith. It was released by East West on 3 November 2017, and debuted at number nine on the UK Albums Chart. Details of the album were first announced in August 2017, with Smith subsequently confirming Sheridan as its title in October.
Sheridan became a hermit, grew beards and obsessed about gardening. As we're unlikely to get any usable labour out of either of them again we asked our two jolly stalwart shipmates Garcia and Lyman to revisit this anthem. As if by magic and with honestly no prompting each of them ended up augmenting one side of the coin each. Timo Garcia's take on it almost exclusively highlights Tim Sheridan's delicate piano tinklings and pizzicato string arrangements, throwing a light on the anthemic melodic aspects.
