Elvis: A Legendary Performer Volume 2 is a compilation album featuring recordings by American singer and musician Elvis Presley. As with the first volume of the series, issued in 1974, the collection was a mixture of previously released and d recordings. The album was certified Gold on October 25, 1977 and Platinum and 2 Platinum on July 15, 1999 by the RIAA.

The second volume in RCA's Legendary Performer series on Elvis Presley followed the pattern of the first one, mixing well-known songs about half and half with previously unreleased songs or alternate takes. Volume 1 had boasted an alternate of the Sun Records track "I Love You Because"; Volume 2 trumped that by digging up a previously unreleased Sun song, "Harbor Lights. That was the one gem here, though  . Still, this album was a collector's special, not an essential release (which didn't keep it from going gold).

Elvis: A Legendary Performer, Vol. 2. Elvis Presley Format: Audio Cassette. With the LP's there is a large booklet with each volume, packed with pretty cool stuff. Elvis: A Legendary Performer Volume 1 is a greatest hits collection by Elvis Presley issued in 1974 by RCA Records. It features 14 tracks, which includes twelve songs and two interviews with Presley. It was certified Gold on January 8, 1975 and Platinum and 2x Platinum on July 15, 1999 by the RIAA. The album opens with his first recording from 1954, "That's All Right", the song that started his recording career at Sun Records.
