Wolfram Huschke - Diabolica (1995). Date: 18 Nov 2010 20:04:44. Wolfram Huschke - Diabolica (1995). Never would Wolfram Huschke presume to bore his audience. Probably he isn’t even able to do so because Huschke is everything else than a boring person. Lift, Stuttgart July 1995. The touch of my hands on the strings with all the experience of tradition and thrill of experimentation at the same time is the risk of my performance, every day, every moment, for the music, the audience and myself. Energy runs through my whole body and bursts into the universal strenght of emotions.

Next to own compositions, Huschke presents us here with a couple of re-interpretations of classical and rock compositions using his electronica driven expansion of the cello-sound: tracks 'Lent' (5) and 'Animé' (6) are interpretations of pieces by Claude Debussy. Purple Haze' (8) is a cover from Jimi Hendrix. Bach 1 (13) and Bach 2 (14) are of course reinterpretations of the work of Johan Sebastian Bach. Vocalise' (15) is a composition from Sergei Rachmaninoff.
