The Honourable Susan Frances Harmar Nicholls (born 23 November 1943 in Walsall, Staffordshire) is an English actress, most known today for her long-running role as Audrey Roberts on Coronation Street. Educated at the School of S. Mary and S. Anne (now known as Abbots Bromley School for Girls), and a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, she first became known as Marilyn Gates on the soap Crossroads, a role she played from 1964 to 1968.

Sue Nicholls, Actress: Coronation Street. Sue Nicholls was born on November 23, 1943 in Walsall, Staffordshire, England as Susan Frances Harmer Nicholls. She is an actress, known for Coronation Street (1960), The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin (1976) and Up the Elephant and Round the Castle (1983). She has been married to Mark Eden since July 6, 1993. Other Works: Performed the Jackie Trent and Tony Hatch-composed "Where Will You Be" on 7" Pye Records single. It was heavily promoted in ATV's "Crossroads" and the B-side was "Every Day"; the release reached number 17 in the UK charts and remained in the top 75 for eight weeks.
