Brothers is the sixth studio album by American rock duo The Black Keys. Co-produced by the group, Mark Neill, and Danger Mouse, it was released on May 18, 2010 on Nonesuch Records. Brothers was the band's commercial breakthrough, as it sold over 73,000 copies in the United States in its first week and peaked at number three on the Billboard 200, their best performance on the chart to that point.

The album features songs from the groups pre-88rising days, as well as new songs written after signing. On Brothers, their first studio album after a year of offshoot affairs (Auerbach’s solo album, Keep It Hid; Carney’s side group, Drummer; a hip-hop project, BlakRoc), the Keys make a thick, dirty racket, overdubbed but never overstuffed. In Ten Cent Pistol, the pair pile on the menace - a garage quintet’s worth of guitars, organ and heavy death march - while leaving enough cold air in a mix that feels like a graveyard recital.

The studio, not to mention the artwork patterned after such disregarded Chess psychedelic-era relics as This Is Howlin’ Wolf’s New Album, are good indications that the tough blues band of the Black Keys earliest records is back, but the group hasn’t forgotten what they’ve learned in their inwardly psychedelic mid-period. Brothers still can get mighty trippy - the swirling chintzy organ that circles The Only One, the Baroque harpsichord flair of Too Afraid to Love You - but the album is built with blood and dirt, so its wilder moments remain gritty without being earthbound.

The Chemical Brothers will release a new, fully expanded version of their classic third album 'Surrender" this Autumn! The deluxe reissue will feature the original 1999 album with previously unreleased ˜Secret Psychedelic Mixes"™ of Surrender album tracks, as well as a selection of the remixes from the time. There's also a DVD of restored promo videos and film of their legendary Glastonbury 2000 performance (still reckoned to have drawn the biggest ever crowd to the Pyramid Stage).
