Let It Be is a 1970 British documentary film starring the Beatles and directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg. The film documents the group rehearsing and recording songs for their twelfth and final studio album Let It Be, in January 1969. The film includes an unannounced rooftop concert by the group, their last public performance. Released just after the album in May 1970, Let It Be is the final original Beatles release.
Let It Be is the third studio album by American rock band The Replacements. It was released on October 2, 1984 by Twin/Tone Records. A post-punk album with coming-of-age themes, Let It Be was recorded by the band after they had grown tired of playing loud and fast exclusively as on their 1983 Hootenanny album; the group decided to write songs that were, according to vocalist Paul Westerberg, "a little more sincere.
Produced by Alan Hawkshaw. This song is an instrumental cover of Tramp by Otis Redding and Carla Thomas. It is one of the most heavily used samples in hip hop history, with WhoSampled citing over 600 uses (as of December 2017). The Champ" Track Info. Written By Harry Palmer.

The album which became Let It Be "was originally titled Get Back, and was planned to be a return to The Beatles' roots. Paul McCartney in particular was eager for The Beatles to perform in public again, over two years after they abandoned touring. The other band members, especially John Lennon, were resistant to this idea. After increasing use of overdubs and multi-layered recordings on recent albums, there was a general consensus to record the new album live in the studio, just as they had done for their first albums in the early 1960s.
