On Suffering Remembered. The Knockabouts formed in Huntsville, USA in 1982 and split in 1986. They were one of Alabama's first Hardcore bands, sharing the distinction with Birmingham's Blue Cheer-meets-thrash Grossest National Product (GNP), one of Alabama's other Hardcore originators who still play to this day. The Knockabouts played inventive old school Hardcore along the lines of Circle Jerks with a UK vocal influence and Surf-influenced guitar. On Suffering Remembered.

The Knockabouts were a hardcore punk band from Huntsville, Alabama from 1982-1986. They are on the Barricaded Suspects album released in 1983 by Toxic Shock Records and re-released in 1992, and Prank Records released a 7-inch EP of their material in 1995 entitled On Suffering Remembered. They were interviewed by Maximum RocknRoll Magazine in the September 1984 issue. According to Prank Records president Ken Sanderson, in an interview, they are the first hardcore punk band from Alabama.

Time Remembered is a live album by jazz pianist Bill Evans with Chuck Israels and Larry Bunker partially recorded at the Shelly Manne's club in Hollywood, California in May 1963, but not released until 1983 on the Milestone label as a 16-track double LP. It would be later reissued on CD in 1999, with only 13 tracks. The trio performances were recorded at the same sessions that produced At Shelly's Manne-Hole (1963) and were first released on Bill Evans: The Complete Riverside Recordings (1984)

The Knockabouts were a hardcore punk band from Huntsville, Alabama from 1982-1986. The Knockabouts were also a seminal second wave ska band from Melbourne, Australia that existed from 2003-2005 and featured members Tom Bones and Matt Twist. Members of the group have since gone one to feature in such bands as Ground Components, The Beefeaters and Lightly Toasted.
