MP3 Music, June 1, 2015.
In Hungary, a valuable kind of national music was the dance. In this work the composer uses melodies from the 18th-century Linus dance collection, in trio form, with harmonies and bass lines appropriate to that period. The musical fabric is rich in texture, and made more colorful through extended use of the percussion section. The moderate ranges and easy rhythms make this very playable by younger bands. Grade 2) Duration: 3:00. Arranged by Lengyel, Pejtsik.
