In Raid, Torstein, with a tip from Rollo, visited Ragnar at Floki's home after he is wounded during Earl Haraldson's attack on his home. He is later invited by Floki into bed with them.

Torstein Hagen (born 1943) is a Norwegian billionaire businessman, and the founder and chairman of Viking Cruises. Hagen was born and raised in Norway. He earned a degree in physics at the Norwegian Institute of Technology, won a Fulbright grant to study in the United States, and received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1968.

Torstein Lofthus (born 10 March 1977) is a Norwegian drummer and composer who has been a member of Shining, Elephant9, Mathias Eick Band, D'Sound, and thus. He is married to Hege Lofthus. Lofthus has had a major influence on Norwegian music through studio work, live concerts and teaching at Norwegian Academy of Music and at University of Agder (the Faculty of Fine Arts).
